Art In The Square

Southlake had an ART IN THE SQUARE event this past weekend that seemed to be larger than Main Street Art Festival in Fort Worth. Rick and I walked the first row and had already seen 4 things we wanted to buy. But we held back until we walked the entire event. Then in the end we went back to those booths. Rick bought a photograph with a black background and a bright, beautiful bird of paradise on it. Georgous! I bought a very large painting of high heels and a wine glass with sparkles on it. (www.artbypj.com) It’s now in my hallway and is awesome. The picture does nothing to show it off. Before our art purchases we sat down at the stage to listen to some good ol’ music. Then we got up to swing dance while my nachos got cold. It was fun and such good weather….even with the occasional sprinkles of rain.
