SNOW WHITE

she is so cute...............

GOIN' TO THE CHORUS

Saturday Night Rick and I went to Sarah's Chorus show. It was awesome. We both just loved it. The first half was 50's and the second was patriotic. The patriotic made Rick a bit teary eyed. They had a men’s group come sing with them and they sang all the military (??) anthems and had each person stand when theirs was sung either if they served or had family. IT WAS WONDERFUL and inspiring!!! So Rick and I dressed for the 50’s portion. Rick wore rolled up jeans, black dress shoes and white T. I had on a pink poodle skirt, white T, pink scarf, white ankle socks and black swing shoes. SO MUCH FUN! I love dressing in costume. Some people thought I belonged on the stage since I was so dressed up. Then after the 50’s show they did a stroll and some of the ladies created a walk through and you had to dance through them. Rick and I of course participated and we danced our way through. So I was told if I could sing as well as I could dance they wanted me in the chorus…. Too bad I don’t sing well, it looks like a blast.
During one song a guy came out riding a stick horse and wearing a purple hat…. Pretty funny. The video is attached. Not sure if you can see Sarah in it, during that song she was in the back right of the video. I have also included other images from that night. My camera and I didn’t agree on picture quality that day….

THE TWINS

So my mom was in town this weekend for a grandkids ball tournament. Rick and I stopped by to eat dinner with them Saturday night. I mentioned when I first but my hair I looked just like her. Well, Rick took a close up. I dont think in this pic we look identical but I know we do in person.

So one of mom's grandkids wanted to leave the resturant so we told him if ask the bar tender "What is on tap?" we would leave. SUPER CUTE! the guy just smiled and ignored him.

Stone Head Is Growing

Rick's Easter Island Head is now 7 feet tall. Next he will be sculpting the large eyebrows... SO COOL!

My Newest Fosters

My newest fosters are Bullet and Snow White. They are so cute, but what a handful. Bullet is a 4 month old lab and Snow White is a 2 yrs old Argentino Dogo (breed to hunt mountain lions). She likes to smile

MY FOXY FOSTER

My newest foster dog looks like a fat fox. He is still young but seems to be very well behaved. BTW! Sitting between the door and the cooler was his doing not mine. There was plenty of space in the back seat. He was just a bit scared, I think that confind space made him feel better.

I HAVE A DECK!!! NANANA BOOBOO

I am so excited by Saturday night we had completed the deck and pergola. It looks so awesome and I just can't wait to sit back and enjoy it. Sunday we took a much needed day off and just ran a few errands and hung out. IT WAS GREAT! We finally got my house all cleaned up of tools and mud, which was driving me nuts. So the only thing we have left is to haul in dirt, level the yard, place the sprinklers in flush with the ground. Once the ground is settled then lay in the grass seed. I AM GETTING SO GIDDY ABOUT IT ALL BEING DONE....YIPPY

ALEX MAY HAVE A NEW HOME

Alex was adopted last night on a trial bases. He will be living in a big house, with a big yard and another black male lab to play with. I will miss him, he was such a lover.
As of last night the deck is frame, inspector gaget has approved it's foundation and its almost done. Rick took the day off work to put hours into it. He going to try and finish the deck today and start on the pergola. If Nick, his son, gets off work early he plans to stop by and help. In that case I will be coming home to a huge suprise. I am so giddy I just can't wait. Rick says by Tonight I should be dining on my desk and my Sunday night I will be resting under my pergola. Next weekend we will finish the yard.....AND HOPEFULLY BE DONE!!

My Yard

So my backyard project continues on. We worked 15 hours Friday and a total of 31 hours over the weekend on the yard. I can't believe Rick can even walk. He dug 18 holes , 6 2 ft deep and 12 1 ft deep, through rock by hand. The post hole digger was no match for the rock. But Rick's big manly muscles beat on those rocks til they were gone. POOR GUY! I owe him so much. As of last night the deck frame is almost done.If you ask me it looks like a bomb was set off in my backyard. But I see the potential. I am getting excited.
